Joanna Corley Syrpis started Hearth & Woodland in 2017 with the desire to bring beautiful interiors to central Texans. As the owner and interior designer, she endeavors to help clients find their own design style and creates spaces that reflect those. She takes time to get to know her clients, listens to their dreams for their project, and works closely with them as she pulls it all together into the final design.
"Hearth" is a symbol of home and loved ones & the word "Woodland" is reminiscent of the beautiful outdoors and great adventures. Both of these inspire Joanna in her designs - bringing light and texture from the outdoors, international flare from travels abroad, and the warmth of a place where you're loved from home.
Both native Texans, Joanna and her husband, Kosta, love exploring new places. From food joints to National Parks to foreign lands.
